These bracelets were foraged in Stockholm, brought to Slovenia and then meticiusly taken care and transformed into pieces of jewelry.
STOCKHOLM Woolly burdock PROTECTION bracelet
The leaves for this piece of jewelry were foraged on the water bank of the green island Djurgården in Stockholm. Native to Europe and parts of Asia, burdock has been used for medicinal purposes since at least the medieval times. Burdock is also believed to have magical properties, mainly used for cleansing and protection.
Properties: Burdock is a natural diuretic and it’s believed to help with cleansing the urine and purifying the blood.

STOCKHOLM Anise JOY bracelet
Myrrhis odorata
Anise, also known as Sweet cicely is an entirely edible plant that just as the name suggests – tastes sweet. In some cultures it’s believed that cicely imparts joy and happiness and it reminds us to enjoy the small moments in life. The seed for this piece of jewelry was picked from the anise flower next to an old wooden house in Vauxhall.
Properties: When consumed in the form of tea, it alleviates breathing difficulties associated with bronchitis or asthma. The tea is useful for those with upper respiratory tract infections such as flu and common cold.

STOCKHOLM English Ivy FRIENDSHIP bracelet
The leaves for this piece of jewelry were foraged from an overgrown planter in the Strandvagen area in Stockholm. Symbolic meaning of ivy has to do with attachment, be it friendship or other relationships. Just as the plant itself attaches to everything and anything by climbing over walls, stairs, balconies etc. and it won’t easily let go, it reminds us to hold our beloved ones close to our heart wherever we go.
Properties: English ivy contains antioxidants and has antiallergic and antispasmodic properties. It can also reduce cough and is found useful in asthma, allergies, and bronchitis. It’s also applied to the skin to treat burns, infection, joint pain, swelling, and nerve pain.
